Every fall I do family photos for my sister. We try to do something different every year….and this year we chose Fish Creek Park. We had a gorgeous day and once again alot of fun!    

Kelly and Shelly came to me just looking for some nice photos to be able to put up in their new home. They drove down from Edmonton to visit friends and also met up with me. We had lots of fun trying lots of different locations!

Fran called me up and asked if I would do some graduation photos for her since she missed her chance at the university and also wanted something a little more unique. It was a pretty chilly day but she was a good sport and we had fun doing it!

Two weeks after taking Lee’s Maternity photos I was back for a newborn shoot! Little Richard was the perfect little baby and Lee was up for an ideas and she brought some of her own as well. Check out this little cutie! Congrats Lee and Tom!

Recently I was able to test my skills with my very first maternity photo session! My friend and ex-coworker, Lee, was having her first baby and wanted to capture every moment. This was such a special time for her and her husband and I was honoured to be a part of it and to be able to capture those memories through the camera! We had a lot of fun!

On November 13 I had the great pleasure of doing photos for a good friend of mine. We’ve been friends since we were 10 years old! Her and her new husband were married in Hawaii a couple of weeks prior to that and then they had a reception when they got back. They looked amazing and I couldn’t be happier for them! It was a great day, we had lots of fun! Luckily for us the museum in our home town was open and we were able to take photos in there. It was the perfect setting!! Here are a few of my favorites! It has been a crazy busy fall season with lots of family photos and Christmas photo card orders. It’s been great! Every single party we have worked with has been amazing….and there’s no exception for the lovely couple, Davinia and Brian! They had requested their photos to be taken at the Legislature grounds on their big day. I was so excited….I had never taken photos there before but I knew it was a popular spot, for good reason too! The ceremony was gorgeous and the rain held off long enough to get all our wedding party photos done. It really was the perfect day! My partner and I had to get back to Calgary that night so unfortunately we were unable to take up their invite to stay for the reception. It looked like it was going to a great party with amazing and very welcoming people! Thanks for sharing your big day with us! You guys were so great to work with and so much fun! Congrats!

What I learned that day: Rapid straps are very convenient but also make me a little nervous. When I use mine I’ll have my hand cradling my camera just in case the rapid strap decides not to hold my camera!

Well, hello!! Wow, I can’t believe how fast the time has gone by. It’s been three months since I photographed Lisa and Jon on their big day. We had a fantastic time and the weather couldn’t have been better for all of our outdoor shots! Congratulations Lisa and Jon! See some of my favorites below.
